Join us for a thought-provoking discussion of Exploring Age Bias and How to End It by Tracey Gendron, PhD. This month’s Reframe Aging roundtable will delve into the issue of ageism—its origins, its impact, and the actions we can take to challenge and eradicate it.

Whether or not you’ve read the book, we invite you to drop in and join an open, engaging conversation about aging and how we can reshape society’s views on it.


Ageism Unmasked: Exploring Age Bias and How to End It by Tracey Gendron, PhD, offers a powerful examination of ageism’s history and current realities. Written by a nationally recognized gerontologist and speaker, this bold work explores ageism’s roots, its pervasive impact, and how each of us can help create a new, empowering vision of elderhood.

We meet in the lower-level classroom of Cook County Higher Education (CCHE). For those who prefer not to use stairs, please park on 3rd Avenue West and use the lower entrance on the east side of the building.
