This is a chance to dip your toes into different ways of moving. We’ll explore dance from the inside out - less about what it looks like and more about what it feels like. Class styles will vary, including approaches to modern and contemporary dance technique, improvisation, partnering, creative movement, and body awareness. Margaret E Johnson is a dancer and dancemaker who values movement as a way of relating to our environment and ourselves. Her style joyfully bops between precise technique, subtle improvisation, and pop sensibility. Rachel Clark is a passionate dancer eager to share her joy and love of the moving body. Her movement is influenced by modern and contemporary dance technique, improvisation, yoga, qigong, mindfulness, curiosity, intuition, play, and music.
