Planting Herbs
Tuesday, April 15 6-7:30
Cook County Community Center Free
Registration required: z.umn.edu/PlantingHerbs
It’s fun and tasty to grow your own herbs for culinary use or tea. It can be expensive to buy fresh herbs, and sometimes we don’t need the whole bunch. This class will present the basics of starting herbs from seed or transplant, which herbs to grow indoors and what does well in Cook County outdoors, and companion herbs that like to share a pot. We will be potting some herb seeds for participants to take home.
