Housekeeping Runner- Part time or Full-time

Position Summary:
The Housekeeping Runner plays a key support role within the housekeeping department by ensuring all supplies, linens, and materials are organized and delivered efficiently. This position helps maintain smooth daily operations by assisting with laundry processes, stocking essential items, and supporting housekeeping teams in the field. The ideal candidate is reliable, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient laundry area.


• Load and unload washers and dryers; operate laundry equipment safely.


• Fold, sort, and store clean linens and towels.


• Stock housekeeping shelves and storage areas with necessary supplies (amenities, cleaning products, linens, etc.).


• Assist in assembling and packing housekeeping carts/bins with required items for daily room cleanings.


• Deliver packed bins to housekeeping team members across the property.


• Collect dirty linens and trash from housekeeping teams and transport items back to designated areas.


• Assist with inventory counts and ensure adequate supply levels.


• Maintain cleanliness and organization in stockrooms, laundry rooms, and service areas.


• Communicate supply shortages or equipment issues to supervisors promptly.


• Follow all safety guidelines and company policies.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required).


• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 40–50 lbs.


• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


• Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.


• Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience preferred but not required.


• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and be physically active for extended periods.

Work Environment:

• Indoor/outdoor movement between lodging units and housekeeping facilities.


• Use of housekeeping vehicles, carts, and laundry equipment.


• May require weekends, holidays, and varied shifts depending on operational needs.
