Let’s Plant Trees – Part-Time Social Media Assistant (1099)
~5 hrs/week • Flexible • Local to Cook County

Let’s Plant Trees is a Cook County–based nonprofit focused on reforestation. Founded in Lutsen in 2023, we’ve grown from giving away 500 native seedlings in our first year to a planned 50,000 in spring 2026, with distribution events across Cook County and other northern Minnesota communities. As demand grows, we’re preparing to expand our model across the state while continuing to invest in local talent and maximize our impact here at home.

We are looking to hire a part-time social media assistant to help curate our storytelling and presence across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn. No paid experience necessary.  We are not seeking an agency or a career social media professional; we’d much prefer to work with someone local who excels at their own social media storytelling, is passionate about reforestation and climate action, and is looking for a little extra income.

Role: Create and post updates, photos, and videos; share volunteer stories; keep our pages active and engaging; and suggest new ideas that help broaden our reach and deepen community connection.
