Description: Bluefin Bay is looking to hire a Venue Coordinator for the Spring-Fall season with opportunities to extend as the Manager on Duty shifts within the restaurants. The Venue Coordinator is responsible for the execution and delivery of weddings, corporate events, and social gatherings. This role ensures that all details outlined by the Group Sales & Events Manager and client are flawlessly executed, providing exceptional service to guests and clients on event day. Wage-$17-$20 Key Responsibilities Assume ownership of assigned events beginning 10 days prior, reviewing all details from the Manager. Confirm final details with clients, vendors, and internal departments. Create detailed event timelines, floor plans, and staffing assignments. Serve as on-site point of contact for clients and vendors during events. Coordinate with culinary, beverage, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in real-time to ensure client satisfaction. Oversee and executes set-up, tear-down and organization of event rooms. Conduct post-event reviews and provide feedback for continuous improvement. Familiarity with the A/V technology in all event locations. Conducting venue tours and menu tastings. Shuttling for events as needed. Manager on Duty shifts within the restaurants during the event off season if applicable. Qualifications 1–3 years of event or hospitality experience. 21 years of age and meet eligibility requirements to be added to the company’s vehicle insurance policy. Valid United States driver's license. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to stay calm under pressure. Housekeeping and customer service experience preferred. Must have a strong attention to detail. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Less than high school education; up to six months related experience or training.
