Responsible Beverage Server Training
September 24 | 2-4pm | At CCHE
Presenter & Partner: Bryan D. Schafer, Minnesota Safety Council - Responsible Beverage Server Training Liaison & Recovery Friendly Workplace Trainer
This 2-hour course is designed for anyone who sells or serves alcohol or THC cannabis products—including beverages and edibles—in settings such as restaurants, bars, gift shops, and other retail spaces. Whether you’re a server, bartender, or sales person, you’ll learn the essentials of safe and responsible service: product basics, the consequences of over-service and underage sales, customer management, ID verification, alcohol compliance, and more. These skills help create a positive, responsible consumption culture that supports public safety.
Once completed, you’ll be a qualified server for on-sale, off-sale, and special event beverage sales and service. Offered at no cost by certified RBST trainers, this training is a valuable resource for anyone in the beverage industry.
