Presenters & Partners: Minnesota Historical Society’s Inclusion and Community Engagement Department

Join the Minnesota Historical Society’s Inclusion and Community Engagement Department for a virtual presentation about the Greater Minnesota Two-Spirit and LGBTQIA+ History Map, launched in May 2025 and available on the MNHS website: mnhs.org/lgbtqia. The project features an interactive StoryMap website of 140+ stories highlighting Minnesota Two-Spirit and LGBTQIA+ stories from 1790 through the present. As a participatory storytelling tool, the team is accepting story ideas from across the state on a rolling basis. Toward the end of the presentation, attendees will be invited to consider submitting story suggestions from North Shore and Cook County! Did you know Drury Lane Books is listed on the map?
