August - Summer Charlas (Chats): Spanish Speaking Practices
August 3, 10, 17, 24 5-6pm | At CCHE
Note: You are welcome to attend on the dates that work well for you - we understand summer schedules are busy and flexibility is needed.
Summer Charles (Chats): Spanish Speaking Practices are open to language learners of all levels, no previous experience required! Sessions will focus on practicing everyday conversation skills such as greetings, introductions, asking and answering simple questions, sharing about yourself, and building confidence speaking Spanish in a supportive environment. Whether you are completely new to Spanish, brushing up on skills you have not used in a while, or already speak Spanish fluently and would enjoy joining in conversation, all are welcome. This open-ended conversation hour is designed for people who want to practice using Spanish in real-world settings, whether for travel, work, or personal connection. K-5th grade students are also welcome to participate when accompanied by an adult. A CCHE-provided Spanish expert will attend each session to help guide conversation, offer prompts and conversation starters, and support questions and additional learning as needed.
