September 29 | 8am-5pm | At CCHE & Tree Felling Site
Instructor: Jon Olsen, Minnesota North
This lecture & hands-on, one-day course is designed to provide participants with the knowledge, confidence, and practical skills needed to safely operate a chainsaw and perform basic tree felling operations. Participants will learn how to identify and manage chainsaw reactive forces, understand proper felling techniques, and develop safe work practices that comply with OSHA standards. Classroom instruction is combined with field exercises to ensure participants gain real-world experience applying the concepts learned throughout the day.
