North Shore Women Veterans Support & Connection Group
Building community for women who served.
August 25 | 5:30-6:30pm | At CCHE
Facilitator: Karen Christianson, Cook County Veterans Services Veterans Services Officer
No registration required - we welcome you to join when it works for you.
The mission is to provide a supportive and welcoming space where women veterans can connect, share their experiences, and build lasting community.
There is no expectation to attend every month (the last Tuesday each month), come when it works for you, whether that means joining once, attending regularly, or stopping in as your schedule allows.
This group will be facilitated by Karen Christianson, Cook County Veterans Services Veterans Services Officer. Karen is a veteran herself, having served in the United States Navy from 1989 to 1993 as a cryptologic technician. Originally from Saint Paul and now lives in Cook County, she brings both personal understanding and professional experience supporting local veterans. She values hearing veterans’ stories and helping create spaces where people feel understood and supported.
