If you were unable to attend the GES Plant Sale Saturday, stop by the greenhouse on school days this week and next between 8-4:30. We still have good looking herbs, squash, a couple dozen tomatoes, ruby cabbage and a handful of brassicas. Perennials: hollyhocks, several varieties of delphiniums, coreopsis, prairie clover, and a handful of others. Lots of annuals who want a good home with space and consistent watering, many that you have probably not grown! Sweet smelling stock, artisan bachelor buttons, tricolor salvias for the hummingbirds, towering veronicas, blanket flower- they are all small and unassuming now, but will be gorgeous with some time in the garden. If the celery is scraggly or the impatients too small, make an appropriate offer to the fundraiser and take home the plants for primping. Thank you for supporting organic seedlings grown by young gardeners in the making!
