WTIP is hiring Part-time Reporter (20 hours per week)

POSITION SUMMARY: The reporter will help craft the sound of WTIP’s news and information programming and implement the overall vision and day-to-day operations of the WTIP News Department and must excel in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented, collaborative environment as part of the station’s local news department. This position conducts interviews and field reporting as needed and produces between two and four stories per week.

Creative self-starter and inspiring team member.
Ability to prioritize work.
Successfully interacts with a wide variety of people.
Demonstrated time management; skills and flexibility.
Proficiency with software and tools including Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Products or similar audio editing software and social media platforms.
Able to meet daily deadlines under potentially stressful conditions
Comfortable multi-tasking experience in news environment preferred
Experience in broadcast production, web content, news writing and news editing, a plus
