SMC - PRN Pharmacist - Employment/Help Wanted

The Sawtooth Mountain Clinic is looking to bolster our Pharmacy Services by adding a PRN Staff Pharmacist. Ideally, we would love someone who could work 16 hours per week, or about 30 hours in a two week period starting in May.

Status: Non-exempt
Standard Hours: Part-Time or PRN

Pay: $65-70/hour, commensurate with educational background and experience

Job Summary:
The Sawtooth Mountain Clinic (SMC) Staff Pharmacist plays an important role in delivering medication and pharmaceutical care to all patients and customers of the SMC Pharmacy.

Job Responsibilities:
• This position is responsible for dispensing and ensuring safe and efficient delivery of medications to all customers
• Maintain open communication and be available to customers and practitioner sites for consultation
• Participate in supervision of technical staff
• Ensure pharmacy is compliant with best practices for 340B contract pharmacies
• Provide professional consultation to both patients and prescribers of partner health facility
• Complete pharmacy operational requirements by organizing and directing technicians' work flow; verifying their preparation and labeling of pharmaceuticals; verifying order entries, charges, and inspections
• Other responsibilities as dictated by the needs of the Sawtooth Mountain Clinic Pharmacy in service of SMC Pharmacy patients and customers

Job Qualifications:
• Doctor of Pharmacy
• Pharmacist registration in MN
• Ability to work a flexible schedule
• Interpersonal relations and customer service skills
• 340B experience is preferred
Physical Requirements:
• Mobility to work in typical office setting and use standard office equipment
• Stamina to stand for extended periods of time, up to 8 hours per day
• Strength to lift and carry up to 40 pounds
• Corrected vision and hearing within normal range to observe and communicate with patients and professional staff, in person and over the telephone, and to read printed materials and a computer screen
