We are seeking a dependable, resourceful, and hands-on IT & Facilities Assistant to support our technology infrastructure and facility operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, solving practical problems, and assisting with both technical and maintenance-related responsibilities. The successful candidate will possess basic IT knowledge, strong troubleshooting skills, and a willingness to learn while supporting day-to-day technology and facility needs. Working closely with internal staff and external vendors, this individual will help ensure our technology and workplace operate efficiently. No two days will be the same, making this an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a dynamic environment and wearing multiple hats.

Standard Hours: Full-time, up to 40 hours/week

Wage: $22.50 - $29.50 depending on training and experience

Key Responsibilities:
Information Technology Support
• Provide first-level technical support for computers, printers, phones, and other office equipment.
• Assist with troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Help set up computers, user accounts, workstations, and technology for new employees.
• Coordinate service requests and communicate with external IT vendors as directed.
• Maintain inventory of technology equipment, accessories, and supplies.
• Assist with technology upgrades, equipment deployment, and routine maintenance.
Facilities Support
• Assist with routine facility inspections and identify maintenance needs.
• Perform minor repairs and light maintenance using hand and power tools.
• Help coordinate contractors, service providers, and vendors for repairs and facility projects.
• Monitor building conditions and promptly report maintenance concerns.
• Assist with office moves, furniture assembly, workspace setup, and general organization.
• Support routine building maintenance and upkeep to help maintain a safe, clean, and functional workplace.
General Responsibilities
• Respond to routine technology and facility support requests.
• Assist with multiple projects and priorities while meeting established deadlines.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and professional work environment.
• Support departmental operations with various technical, facilities, and administrative projects as assigned.
• Maintain accurate records related to equipment, maintenance activities, and vendor services.

Qualifications
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and common technology systems.
• Comfortable using hand tools and performing light maintenance tasks.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while knowing when to seek guidance or assistance.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and learn new skills quickly.
• Experience working with vendors, contractors, or service providers is preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent required; related technical training/experience is a plus.

Physical Requirements:
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, push, pull and reach overhead for prolonged periods
• Ability to ascend and descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding
• Ability to lift, carry, adjust, up to 50 pounds at a time.
• Ability to properly operate manual and electric power tools and some machinery.
• Exposure to a variety of environments and weather including to wind, rain, snow, dust, fumes, and chemicals
• Exposure to a variety of smells, temperatures, noises, chemicals, and moving mechanical parts associated with HVAC systems, construction, and/or renovation
• Ability to withstand repetitive motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
• Ability to operate motor vehicles or heavy equipment.
• Ability to communicate with others to exchange information.
• Ability to assess the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned.
