We are excited to announce an opening for a seasonal sales associate at our downtown Grand Marais, Minnesota gallery.
Our gallery focus is “Art of the North,” reflecting Lake Superior’s beauty, environment, history, and people, and includes the unique regions of far north Alaska and Canada. We develop long-term relationships with customers and artists to provide the best art-buying opportunities in the region. And we believe art in our homes and workplaces enhances our lives.
Seasonal Sales Associate at Sivertson Gallery, Grand Marais
Position is available now. Must be friendly, flexible, available to work at least one weekend shift per week and holidays (nights not necessary), and love working in a busy, enthusiastic environment with delightful coworkers and motivated shoppers. Our busy season is June through October. The seasonal position is flexible within the months of June through October. Sales Associate reports to the Gallery Manager.
Minimum qualifications: High school diploma, excellent social skills, reasonable math and computer skills (previous point of purchase sales software experience preferred), previous sales experience, and previous knowledge of art and/or art processes preferred. Able to lift reasonable amounts of weight, climb ladders, and stand for up to 10 hours.
