Patient Account Representative

North Shore Health is hiring a Patient Account Representative.  The position can be PT or FT and offers flexibility in your schedule.  No evenings or weekends are required.  The PAR duties will include posting of electronic/cash payments to patient accounts and balancing with deposits, billing care center accounts and assisting families with questions, collection of patient accounts over 120 days and assisting applicants who apply for financial assistance.  The right candidate should have attention to details, excellent math skills, ability to work independently and strong interpersonal communication skills.  Ability to use Microsoft Office, Excel and Word a plus.  Confidentiality is a must!

Minimum qualifications include; high school graduate, experience in an office support setting and a strong work ethic.

Wage range is $22.25 to $29.58, credit may be given for experience.  Full time benefits include; PTO, 8 paid holidays, health/dental/vision insurance available, PERA, flexible spending account, life insurance and long term disability.  PT hours may also receive benefits which include PTO, PERA Pension plan and Health Insurance.
