Description: North Shore Health is seeking applicants for a Resident Care Manager of the Care Center (North Shore Living). The Resident Care Manager supports Nursing Administration at North Shore Living in planning, organizing, directing and evaluating care for residents following the directives of professional and regulatory bodies. North Shore Living is a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) licensed by the State of Minnesota and certified to be a Medicare/Medicaid provider. Supports the implementation and evaluation of departmental goals, standards of performance, resident safety and quality initiatives. Assures resident care and services are provided and improved through interdisciplinary teamwork, using clinical practice guidelines, evidence based outcomes or best practice recommendations while creating an experience of home that uplifts resident choice and opportunities for a meaningful life and promotes resident and family satisfaction. Assumes the duties of a Registered Nurse as needed to support residents and employees. Education: Associate’s Degree in Nursing. Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current license in Minnesota to practice as a Registered Nurse. BLS Certification with a designation of either "BLS Provider" from the American Heart Association. Description: North Shore Health currently has a part time position available in the Dietary Department. This position is for 16 hours a pay period and required to work every other weekend. This position does have the potential to include more hours in the future. The Dietary Aide and/or Cook at North Shore Health plays an essential role in the healthcare environment, focusing on the preparation and delivery of meals to patients, staff, and visitors in a fast pace environment. This position ensures that all individuals within the facility have access to nutritious and satisfying meals, tailored to meet dietary needs and preferences. By maintaining strict hygiene and safety standards in the kitchen and dining areas, the Dietary Cook or Prep supports the overall health and well-being of the hospital and Care Center community. Depending on shift assigned their responsibilities go form washing dishes to cooking, adhering to health regulations, and providing excellent customer service, making their contribution fundamental to the smooth operation of the Dietary department. Cook and Aide Job Duties • Prepare and deliver patient meals and snacks according to dietary requirements and meal plans, ensuring all food served adheres to health and safety standards. • Operate kitchen equipment such as dishwashers, ovens, and blenders, maintaining cleanliness and functionality. • Take inventory of food supplies and kitchen utensils, restocking items as needed to ensure the kitchen is well-equipped for meal preparation. • Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, utensils, dishes, and silverware to prevent the spread of infection and comply with health regulations. • Wash dishes when assigned a “Prep shift”. • Collect and dispose of trash and recycling from the kitchen and dining areas, following waste management protocols. • Assist in the receipt and storage of food deliveries, verifying quantities and quality, and organizing storerooms and refrigerators. • Participate in menu planning and the development of new dishes that meet nutritional standards and cater to patient dietary restrictions. Applicants are required to be able to work AM Cook, AM Prep, PM Cook, shifts rotating holidays and every other weekend. Wage range starts at $17.64 for a Dietary Aide and $20.01 for Cook, with a full earning potential of $27.56 at step 15.
