Highway Clerk

The anticipated starting hourly rate for this position is $26.28 (Step 1) - $28.43 (Step 3)/hour depending on experience. With a full future earning potential of $26.28 (Step 1) - $35.97 (Step 9)/hour ($53,611.20 - $74,817.60 annually). This position is a full-time 40 hours per week and eligible for full-time county BENEFITS PACKAGE.


Job Summary:

Provides administrative support to the Highway Department. Assists the Highway Accountant in maintaining accounts, including accounts receivable and accounts payable. Manages the Joint Fueling Facility. Helps coordinate the Highway Department Safety Program and provides clerical and customer service support for department and staff.
