Grand Marais Lions - Citizen of the Year Award - Nomination
The Citizen of the Year award is for an individual or couple whose volunteerism and service to the community has made Cook County a better place to live. In choosing a recipient, consideration will be given to the nominee’s past and on-going contributions to the community. A nominee only needs to be nominated once to be considered. If multiple nominations are received for a nominee, all information provided will be compiled and considered, but number of nominations does not impact the selection.
If you have a community member you feel should be considered for the award, nominate them below. The recipient is expected to be available for the presentation of the award, which will be Saturday, August 2, 2025 at 2:30PM in Harbor Park. Nominations are due by 5:00PM on Friday, July 12, 2025.
Here is the link to submit via the Lions webpage or to download PDF of submission form that can be completed and emailed to gmlionsclub@gmail.com
