In this demonstration, Donna Bruni will explore the role of discernment in the creative process—how artists make decisions, both intentional and intuitive, at every stage of a painting. From initial composition to final refinements, she will discuss the balance between spontaneity and control, offering insight into how choices in color, form, and texture shape a dynamic abstract work. Through live painting, Donna will reveal the subtle yet critical moments of decision-making that bring a composition to life.
