Retail Sales Associate

Job description:
Come join us at The Mountain Shop At Lutsen Mountains. We are looking for a highly motivated full/part time sales associate. Job Duties:
Provide exceptional customer service as you assist in day-to-day store operations.
Engage with guests and create an entertaining, fun, exciting and memorable shopping experience.
Become familiar with a variety of products. Demonstrate knowledge of the area and its many attractions.
Check out customers in a timely, efficient manner while paying close attention to accuracy when handling cash and credit cards.
Keep the store neat, tidy and well stocked.
Position Preferences-
Able to work a flexible schedule that includes weekends and holidays
Previous retail, cash-handling, merchandising skills, and customer service is a plus but we are willing to train the right candidate. An accounting background is plus but not required.
Knowledge of skiing and ski equipment is a bonus but not required..
The ability to study and learn new and existing products. Be well informed and able to answer questions about a variety of merchandise.
Able to work in a team environment.
Able to be on your feet for extended periods of time.
