Our Mission
The mission of the Violence Prevention Center is to serve individuals and families in
Cook County affected by domestic and sexual violence and to act as a catalyst in building healthy relationships and developing a community where violence is not tolerated.

Domestic Violence Awareness Month Vigil
Description: Please join the Violence Prevention Center as we remember and honor those who lost their lives to domestic violence in 2025. We will read their names, share their stories, and come together as community. Together we can move forward in hope. When: Thursday October, 22nd. Time: 5:30pm-6:30pm Where: Studio 120, 120 3rd St Ave W Light refreshments will be served.
