Scott Cawthon produced the five nights at freddy's series of Survival Horror independent video games. The first game, launched on August 8, 2014, focuses on the notorious Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria and its four animatronic characters, Freddy Fazbear, Bonnie the Bunny, Chica the Chicken, and Foxy the Pirate Fox. The restaurant is kid-friendly during the day, but when it closes for the night, the atmosphere changes radically, as the animatronics begin to stroll about on their own.
