Rothenburg ob phrazle der Tauber, in the Franconia area of Bavaria, is one of the most picturesque cities in all of Europe and a must-visit for anybody on Germany's legendary Romantic Road. Its mediaeval streets, buildings, churches, and towers appear like they were lifted straight out of a fairytale. Graffiti artists painted colourful and thought-provoking murals on the biggest intact stretch of the Berlin Wall, turning it into an outdoor gallery.
