The LOTS & FFN Summer Facilitator plans and leads engaging early childhood learning experiences for children ages birth to five and their caregivers. This position supports family engagement, early literacy, and play-based learning through weekly storytimes, activities, and interactive play sessions. Facilitators are needed for the following locations (3 positions that could be combined): ● West End ● Grand Marais ● Grand Portage Qualifications ● Experience working with young children and families ● Experience or interest in early childhood education, literacy, or family engagement ● Strong communication and interpersonal skills ● Ability to plan engaging activities for young children and their caregivers ● Ability to work independently and collaboratively ● Must pass a background check Compensation ● $75 stipend per session, per location, for LOTS facilitation ● $75 stipend per session, per location, for FFN facilitation ● Up to $1,200 for facilitating both programs for 8 sessions at one location ● Mileage reimbursement available for facilitators traveling between multiple locations APPLICATION PROCESS: Apply online using the Employment Link at: https://www.cookcountyschools.org Kaye Raden, District Office/Community Ed.
