The Cook County YMCA is currently hiring for a part-time Teacher at the Cook County Child Care Center.

Join our dynamic team of employees dedicated to building strong and healthy kids. Teachers give leadership, instruction, and supervision to participants ages 6 weeks to 5 years old in the Child Care Center Monday-Friday during day time hours. The Child Care Center hours are Monday – Friday, 7:45 am – 5:15 pm. Hours and days are determined upon availability and open shifts.

Compensation and Benefits:
The pay range starts at $14-$15 per hour. The YMCA offers benefits for part-time positions including paid time off, holidays off, free membership, program discounts, and paid training hours.
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in early childhood or similar degree program of directly related training and/or education. ***Assistance may be available to candidates in order to complete educational training that meets the requirements of this position such as a Child Development Associate Certificate.
