Compensation: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 salary (based on experience)

Seat Overview
The Kitchen Manager is responsible for the daily operational performance of the kitchen, ensuring staffing, food safety, cleanliness, inventory control, and workflow are executed consistently. This role focuses on people, process, and execution, supporting the Head Chef by keeping the kitchen running smoothly, safely, and efficiently across all service periods.

Ensure the kitchen operates safely, efficiently, and consistently by managing people, systems, and execution, so culinary standards and guest expectations are met every day.
Core Accountabilities
- Kitchen Operations & Flow: Ensure daily kitchen operations run smoothly by managing prep, staffing coverage, station readiness, and service flow across all shifts.
- People Management & Scheduling: Hire, schedule, train, and supervise BOH staff to ensure proper coverage, accountability, and performance at all times.
- Food Safety & Sanitation: Maintain full compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health regulations; ensure the kitchen is always inspection ready.
- Inventory & Cost Control: Manage inventory levels, ordering, receiving, and storage to control food cost, minimize waste, and support accurate forecasting.
- Standards & Consistency: Enforce kitchen procedures, portioning standards, prep systems, and cleanliness expectations to ensure consistent execution.
- Equipment & Facility Readiness: Oversee proper use, cleanliness, and preventive maintenance of kitchen equipment; report and follow up on repair needs.
- Cross-Team & Resort Coordination: Coordinate with FOH, Events, Facilities, and other resort departments to support service timing, special events, staffing needs, and cross-resort consistency.

Qualifications & Competencies
Required
- Previous experience in kitchen operations, BOH supervision, or kitchen management.
- Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
- Ability to schedule, supervise, and manage BOH staff performance.
- Working knowledge of inventory systems, ordering, and cost control.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Availability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and peak resort periods.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
Preferred
- Experience in a high-volume restaurant, resort, or multi-outlet operation.
- Experience working alongside chefs or culinary leadership teams.
- Familiarity with inventory systems such as ExtraChef.
- Food safety certification (ServSafe or equivalent).
- Interest in long-term growth within F&B or resort operations leadership.
Physical & Environmental Requirements
- Stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
- Lift, carry, or move up to 40lbs regularly.
- Work in hot, fast-paced kitchen environments typical of resort operations.
