Environmental Air Quality Tech/Specialist

Grand Portage Trust Lands Division is seeking an Environmental Air Quality Tech/Specialist.  This is a full-time position that will plan, develop, and implement an outdoor and indoor Tribal Air Program on the Grand Portage Reservation. Operate, maintain and analyze data from the Beta Attenuation Monitor (BAM), which measures particulate matter 2.5 (PM 2.5), and assess what other air-quality parameters should be monitored to best fit the modeling needs of the region. Continue to update an emissions inventory of all air pollution sources. Conduct indoor air assessments and determine how to best address the most important indoor air quality concerns on the Grand Portage Reservation are just a few of the duties.  The salary range is $17.94 - $20.80/hour depending on qualifications.

Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university or Associates degree from an accredited two-year college in life science, physical science, or environmental science (e.g., biology, chemistry, physics, etc.) or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
