Job Summary:

Under supervision of the County Assessor, the Appraiser Trainee assists in providing fair, accurate and equitable property tax assessments on non-commercial property, according to state statute and county policies, for ad valorem tax purpose. Clerical responsibilities include the coordination of daily office functions and duties, processing simple taxpayer information requests, processing parcel splits, assisting with sketches, organizing permits, establishing and maintaining electronic files and providing customer service to taxpayers and the general public.
