Summer Programs Continue at the YMCA
Summer programs offer engaging ways to stay active!
Swim lessons are an important part of summer and help kids understand water safety and build strong swimmers for a lifetime. The 6 months-3 year olds can join Parent'Child class, 3-5 year olds can join Preschool class, and 6 year and up can join School-age lessons. Cheer Camp is back and begins July 16th with performances at Vikings games this fall. Fall Soccer starts it's season August 20th with two age groups: 5-8 year olds and 9 years and up.
Summer Day Camp is going strong! Kids ages 5-12 can explore Grand Marais, swim, play team games, participate in STEM activities, learn archery and more. Thursdays are field trip days with planned adventures up and down the North Shore. Camp is Monday-Friday and open to summer visitors. Breakfast and lunch are included as part of the ISD 166 school summer food program.
Program registration is open now! See all the offerings in the Summer Program Guide here. Register online at www.cookcountyymca.org or contact the YMCA Membership desk at 218-387-3386 x 501.
