Join the Cook County Historical Society as we celebrate the newest Johnson Heritage Post Art Gallery Exhibit, featuring work from The Glass Group.
The Glass Group consists of Sharon Frykman, Tony Rau, Veronica Weadock, Bob Pranis, Nancy Seaton, Mary Bebie, Jeri Person, Lee Ross, and Lissa Grover, who collectively explore the incredible medium of fused glass and its many techniques. This group of nine glass artists has stuck together as they’ve moved into their own studios after sharing space at the Art Colony.
A Walk in the Woods is a look into the many angles they see their environment and interpret it in glass.
An opening reception will take place on August 15 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at JHP. The event is open to anyone, and light refreshments will be served.
The exhibit will run through September 7, 2025.
