With Britt Malec Mon, November 4 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm Kids will deepen their relationship with plants by learning to draw them from observation. We will use a variety of drawing techniques as well as mindfulness and movement practices. By the end of class, students will have a beginners understanding of contour, gesture, value, and negative space. They will be able to more confidently use drawing as a tool to observe the world around them more deeply. They will have a basic understanding of what makes plants different from one another. Perfect for budding naturalists! All supplies and materials are provided. Before enrolling, please ensure that potential students will be between the ages of 8 and 11 at the time of this class (Nov. 4th).
