The Johnson Heritage Post Art Gallery (JHP) is seeking a guest artist to feature during this year’s Art Along the Lake (September 25 – October 4, 2026). We are specifically looking for an artist whose work and presence will engage our community and visitors during this popular event. The Opportunity We are offering a dedicated 8' x 8' showcase space in the corner of our center gallery. Because this event coincides with our annual Plein Air exhibit, wall space is at a premium; therefore, we are giving strong preference to three-dimensional work or artists whose display does not rely heavily on rod/hanging space. JHP will provide: A high-traffic display area during a peak tourism window. Sales management and professional gallery representation. Promotion of your work and scheduled programming. Storage space for backstock and daily maintenance of the display. What We’re Looking For Artists whose work furthers the goal of sharing regional artistic heritage. We are specifically seeking an artist available for on-site programming, such as artist talks, live demonstrations, or workshops. While we welcome all applications, priority will be given to working regional artists. Non-regional applications will be considered after regional reviews are complete.
