With Adam Swanson

Wed, July 24 @ 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Adam will share about his work and process, how he uses color and symbol as well as how he encourages creativity through daily practice. Adam is a painter and muralist fascinated by the way science fiction suggests a future for humanity transformed by major environmental changes and technological innovations. His invented landscapes ask viewers to consider unfamiliar places, such as the lines between true and false, fiction and documentation, natural growth, and urban development. Currently, Adam is a member of the Twin Ports Art Science Collaborative and his work has been influenced by researchers and activists from the Lake Superior watershed and the SPRUCE climate change project in the Chippewa National Forest.

Entry Points are sponsored in part, by our local art supply store and business partner: Joy & Company, located at 16 1st Ave W, Grand Marais.
