Join us for the opening reception of our August Arrowhead Artist Exhibition. Nancy Carlson is an accomplished children’s book author and illustrator living in Hovland, MN. Throughout the month of August, Nancy will be exhibiting a series of artworks depicting women alone in nature and at home. This series began after experiencing loss, hardship, and loneliness, and continued forward as a way of processing and healing – mirroring a similar series that Nancy created as a newly married wife and mother. With all of life’s changes, Nancy is trying to figure out life through creating art.
